About Sara Jo Soldovieri

Raised outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin Sara Jo began dancing at age 3 and never looked back! She soon enrolled in a pre-professional ballet training where she intensity studied and became expert at Cecchetti, Vaganova, and Balanchine ballet traditions. She expanded her dance training to include pointe, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical. In high school, Sara Jo joined the highly elite competitive team at Accent on Dance where she competed and won nationally in jazz, contemporary, tap, and modern.

Throughout her training she auditioned for and was accepted into numerous highly competitive summer intensives, masterclasses, and workshops including under Jean Paul Comelin,  Cedric Gardner, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, the Martha Graham School, Milwaukee Ballet, Dance Masters of Wisconsin, and American Ballet Theater. She began as a demonstrator and teacher assistance at age 12 where she found her passion for creating a nurturing, safe environment for all dancers to reach their full protentional. After high school, Sara Jo continued her dance education taking higher education dance classes including ballet, tap, contemporary, and modern.


Sara Jo is currently a PhD candidate in Inclusive Special Education at Syracuse University. She is excited to join Absolute Dance!
